Reprimand a Bad Contractor

"You've been had by a contractor, now what?".

If it was an insurance claim, report it to your insurance adjustor immediately.

Addtl. calls to make:

 - All involved parties

 - Police Department (if applicable)

 - Development Commission of the City or Village of their business

 - Chamber of Commerce

 - Better Business Bureau

 - Attorney General's Office

Gather as much information as you can on the contractor; have his address, phone number, information on his other businesses or assets.

Jot down as many facts as you can; what was done wrong or incomplete? How much did it cost you to fix?

Be creative; if the system doesn't work, what will?
