"Service dogs are specifically trained and certified to assist our
children with certain tasks, owners of therapy dogs assist others by
bringing them to visit, etc...my grandson wants one to do both. While I
investigate more (and prepare my home) we volunteer at the local animal
control. My grandson loves walking the different dogs and I love
watching them play. I'm also getting a feel for what type of dog will
work best for us
In addition to preparing ourselves for a
service/therapy dog we are strong believers in how therapeutic
pet ownership can be"
